Golf outing update

Attention Golfers!

   Another block of rooms have been reserved for anyone interested in staying in Wausau for the State golf outing on Monday July 22. In addition to the Jefferson St Inn, which is walking distance from the lodge. We also now have LaQuinta Hotel which is just a short drive away.

   LaQuinta  at 1910 Stewart Ave, phone number 715-203-8324, has reserved a number of rooms on a first come first served basis until June 15th. Single King at $90 and double Queen at $99. Just follow the link below for your reservations.

   Also we have attached the Greenwood Hills golf course plan and discounts for the Golf Course!

Greenwood will supply & help with the following:

1. 2 rounds of golf for 18 holes for 2 foursomes for raffles.

2. 25% discount on apparel & 10% off on golf equipment to all Elks members the day of the outing.

3. Tables & chairs for registration  at 8:30, shot start at 10:00am. 

4. Bloody Mary Bar Fixings table in the bar area. Bar to open at 8:30.

5. Bag drop helpers when arriving.  Also a golf cart to shuttle players to driving range with free practice balls before the event.

6. Golf carts with team members names.

7. Score cards & list of hole events.

8. Box lunch before tee off.

9. 2 Drink carts on the course & a Tent Bar located by the club house.

10. They will set up signs for the hole events.

11.  Honor Flight setup on hole 18 green. With donation from each group of golfers a veteran will putt once for the group
Not charging a stroke.

12. Special Honor Flight Cocktail available for $8.00. Half of sale to be donated back to the Elk’s Lodge.

13. Drinks, Raffles, Passing off of the Traveling Trophy and Banquet back at the Wausau Elk’s Lodge after the scramble.
